Gyatum Marigold

A marigold field carries a wreath of crimson peonies around a blue centre, with a treasure vase above and below and a gold band of ribboned knots inside a cobalt edge. Marigold is the warm end of the monastic robe colours, so the field reads as offering with a little fire in it, while the knots and ribbons of the border say that what is given keeps circling back. The lively one of the family, made for the room used most.
