Palbeu Open Sky

A pale sky blue field with a fret roundel at the centre flanked by red lotus petals, a quarter roundel in each corner, and a broad band of yellow gold carrying flowering vine scrolls with white blossoms. Sky blue is the colour of the clear sky, the image Tibetan teachers use for the nature of mind: open, unobstructed, with nothing to hold on to. A single roundel set in it is the one point of attention, the unbroken fret held between two lotus petals, and the yellow vine border brings saffron in as a frame. For a bedroom, a study or a meditation space, and a gentle gift for someone beginning a retreat.
