Palbeu Pearl

A cream field with a fret roundel in a wreath of flowers at the centre, eight small flower sprays set round it, a vine of peonies curling into each corner, and a wide meander fret in brown and gold carrying a red peony at each corner and mid point. A centre with eight sprays round it is the plan of an eight petalled lotus, the seat at the middle and a petal in each of the eight directions, the way a lotus mandala is laid out. The unbroken fret is continuity at the centre and again in the border. A rug for the place the household gathers, and a strong wedding or housewarming gift.
